The Westward Move
Yes, I’m terrible at blogging. I’ve admitted it hundreds of times, and will admit it one more. As much as I love to write and struggle to squeeze maxims into 140-character spaces, I find the idea of a blog to be daunting. That being said, I’m going to make an effort to improve on it. Again.
Two weeks ago today, I boarded a plane in Boston with three suitcases, a backpack, and my guitar and headed out to Los Angeles. Seven other boxes packed full of crap were shipped, too. It just sounds more poetic the other way.
Now, I’ve spent the past couple weeks exploring what West Hollywood and the surrounding areas have to offer. I’ve walked (and hated) the Universal CityWalk. I almost died trying to escape the crowd for Motley Crue at the Sunset Strip Music Festival. I saw my four-year-old cousin encased in a giant bubble in the Hollywood Hills. I got a job babysitting the kids from Revolutionary Road. And they’re awesome. All in all, I think it’s been a great two weeks.
I’m working on getting some new demos finished. I have a few songs that I’m working on at the moment, and I hope I get to share them with you soon!
